How to split one asset into two

Two assets mistakenly created as one

There is no functionality to split an existing asset.  Instead:

1. Process an Adjustment transaction to reduce the value to only reflect one asset
2. In New Assets, create and post a new asset for the value removed from the original asset
3. If desired, the new assets can then be linked to the original asset:  How to create a parent and subsidiary relationship for capital assets
