How to create fixed asset user defined fields

Informational 

Resolution
  1.  Go to Financials > Capital Assets > Set up > User Defined Fields
  2. Click Add
  3. In the Application ID field select famaster and enter in the remaining fields:
    1. Name - This is the name of user-defined field that displays on screens and prints on reports
    2. Type - This list determines the type of field being defined: Code, Date, Numeric ,Character
    3. Size - This box specifies the maximum size for the field data. The decimal portion indicates the number of decimal places for numeric types; it is zero for other types.
    4. Status - This list indicates if the field is Active or Inactive.
    5. If you would like the field to be required during data entry select Make this a required field during data entry
  4. Click Accept
