Employee Job Salary-Cannot update Pay Rate

Description of Issue

When clicking Update on a Calc Code 60 additional pay in Employee Job/Salary, user cannot update the Period Rate field. After a value is entered and the changes are saved, the rate reverts to zero.

Cause

Employee has been assigned a Position Control Number and the FTE on the record defined as 0.00.

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Job/Salary.

  2. Search for Employee and Pay Code.

  3. Click Accept.

  4. Click Update

  5. If Update an existing record appears, click OK.

  6. TAB to FTE field and enter correct value greater than 0.00.

  7. TAB to applicable rate field and enter value.

  8. Click Accept
