View who deleted a payroll warrant

Description of Issue
  • We have a payroll that is missing, we think it was deleted.  How can I see who deleted the payroll?

  • How can I tell if a payroll was deleted?

  • Is there an audit showing when a payroll was deleted?

Cause

Resolution
  1. Access Global Audit Inquiry (Human Capital Management > Payroll > Payroll Administration > Global Audit Inquiry)

  2. Click Search > enter the payroll Warrant number > click Accept

  3. Click Browse

  4. If the payroll was deleted, will see an entry with Payroll Run Deleted in the Text column.  This will show who deleted and payroll, and when they deleted the payroll.

Additional Information

If a user deletes a payroll, they do get the following prompt.  They have the option to select Yes or No:

Delete Payroll

This function will delete all the current
payroll data for this run & warrant number
