No budget amounts posted after running Post to Master

No budget amounts posted after running Post to Master

Description of Issue
  • After running Post to Master, budget amounts do not show in Account Inquiry for next year.

  • Next Year Budget Entry does not show amounts in the final level of the budget projection.

Context

Post to Master for Reports

Cause

Budget amounts do not exist in the highest level of the projection.

Resolution
  • Amounts are posted from the highest level of the budget projection, so if the highest level has all zero amounts, no amounts will post.

  • Use the Roll/Factor Merge Project program to roll budget amounts to the highest level, then re-open Post to Master and re-run.

Additional Information
  • In Roll Factor/Merge Projection, select Keep to keep any amounts already existing in the higher level and only replace 0 amounts.

  • Select Overlay instead to overwrite any amounts in the higher level with the lower level amounts.
