How to Move Munis Database Backup File Location

Description of Issue

How to move the nightly database backup files and/or differential backup files to a different directory or drive.

Is it okay to use another drive letter to offload the dbexport folder? What steps are required to move this? What jobs need to be updated to point to the correct location?

Cause

The nightly database backups need to be moved to a different location

This information is specific to Enterprise ERP (Munis) related backups that are taken as part of the Tyler Nightly Backup and Maintenance Plan. Other products may require different steps.

Resolution

The backup configurations need to be adjusted in a few different places. Please contact Tyler Systems Management Support or log a case via the Online Support Client Portal to have the backups moved.
