Munis Silverlight applications retire October 12 2021 - announcement

Context

Munis 11.3

Cause

Microsoft has announced they will no longer support Silverlight after October 2021, which is used in some Munis version 11.3 applications. The announcement provides information on the impacted applications and how to continue to use until an upgrade to version 2019 or higher.  The announcement was posted on Tyler Community and was sent via email to client contacts who are most likely to use the impacted applications based on job title or function. 

Resolution
  1. Verify your job information matches your current responsibilities
    1. Log into tylertech.com
    2. Navigate to Online Support Incidents
    3. Click the drop down next to your name in the top navigation bar
    4. Click Profile
    5. Review entries in Title and Department / Agency / Office
    6. If entries are not current, please log a support case for the product you use most often requesting updates to contact information
  2. Verify with your local IT support that emails from Tyler Technologies are not blocked
