Invoice Entry - Journal out of balance 1532

When trying to post an invoice in invoice entry with contract retainage, receiving an error for Journal out of balance 1532

• Journal Source Maintenance

Journal Sources are using Contract Retainage control and AP Retainage control, and AP settings are not set to use Contract Retainage

1. Navigate to Financials>General Ledger Menu>Set Up/Chart of Accounts>Journal Source Maintenance

2. Select API

3. Locate the Journal Source for API with the drop down of AP Retainage and Control Account of Contract Retainage

4. Delete the entry

Contract Retainage setup can be set to use Contract Retainage control accounts or AP Retainage account, but the system should not contain Journal Sources for both
