GL Allocation Code Import Integration Job in Time and Attendance Error - This Job Costing Element is not Configured

Description of Issue

When trying to process the GL Allocation Code Import Integration job in Time and Attendance to pull Payroll Allocations into TA I am getting an error:

This job costing element is not configured within a JDC Policy or Extended Job Costing is not enabled within the UI Environment Flags.

Context

  • Time and Attendance

  • EERP Payroll 

  • Tyler Integration

  • Policies & Rules Engine

  • JDC Policy

  • UI Environment Flags

Cause

  • The option for Enable Extended Job Costing was not checked in UI Environment Flags.

  • There was no JDC Policy set to Enable the Allocation Code field.

Resolution

Within Time and Attendance (TA):

  1. Go to System Admin > UI Environment Flags.

  2. Click the UI tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Application Control section. 

  4. Verify the Enable Extended Job Costing checkbox is checked. 

    1. Check the box if not checked, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save. 

  5. Navigate to System Admin > Policies & Rules Engine. 

  6. Click the JDC Policy Tab.

  7. Click the Edit pencil icon next to the first Policy. 

  8. Note if there is an Enabled Action for a Field of Allocation Code. 

  9. Change or Add the Field for Allocation Code for any Policy that needs to pull Allocation Code.
