Resolution
  1. Use an air duster to clean all of the following:
    • Port on the USB signature key
    • Port on the module (where the key gets plugged in)
    • Port on the end of the cord that plugs the module into the printer
    • Port on the printer that the signature module cord plugs into
  2. Unplug the key from the module
  3. Unplug the module from the printer
  4. Unplug the power cord for the module
  5. Unplug the printer power cord
  6. Wait at least 5 minutes (this process will likely not fix the issue if you wait less than 5 minutes)
  7. Plug the power cord back into the printer
  8. Wait for the printer to fully start up and indicate that it is in "Ready" status
  9. Plug the power cord back into the signature module and wait about 15 seconds
  10. Plug the module back into the printer
  11. Wait 30 seconds
  12. Plug the signature key into the module, ensuring that it is fully inserted into the port on the module
  13. The lights on the key and/or module will blink for several seconds
  14. The module is ready when the lights show a steady or blinking green. If the lights are red, contact Tyler Forms Support
