Reset password is not allowed at this time

Description of Issue

I do not know my Kiteworks password. When I try to reset my Kiteworks account password by clicking Reset or forgetten password? I get the following message:

Reset password is not allowed at this time. Please contact support for assistance.

Cause

The username attempting to be used is not associated with a Tyler Technologies Corporate Kiteworks account

Entering a value without an @domain.xxx will result in the login page redirecting to https://sso.tylertech.com/ which is only for internal Tyler employee use

Resolution
  1. Navigate to https://tylersftp.tylertech.com/
  2. Use your full email address in the Username or email field
  3. Click Next
  4. Click Forgot password?
    1. Enter your e-mail address
    2. Click Send
  5. Check your e-mail's inbox or junk folder for a password reset e-mail
  6. Click the Reset password button and follow the steps to set a new password
Additional Information
  • Client accounts that are inactive for 180 days or more will be automatically deleted. You will need to be invited to Kiteworks again to send/receive additional files
