General Journal Entry Status Not Defaulting to Approved

General Journal Entry status not defaulting to "Approved", need to release every journal prior to posting, do not have workflow setup

General Ledger Setting for Default Journal Status was not set to "Approved".

To resolve, the Default Journal Status setting in General Ledger Settings needs to be set to "Approved".

Making this update will bypass journal workflow. 

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Setup/Chart of Accounts > General Ledger Settings

1. Update
2. Change the Default Journal Status to "Approved"
3. Accept
