Description of Issue

Change segment that is tied to an org code

Context

Munis 

Change General Ledger Account Codes

Cause

Org Code was added with the wrong segment attached

Resolution

This process can only be completed in LIVE with ALL USERS off the system.

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Setup/Chart of Accounts > Change General Ledger Account Codes

  1. Click Segment Change
  2. Define the Org Code to be changed
  3. Change the segment(s) at the bottom
  4. Click Accept
  5. Click Process

Note: Fund segment (and Secondary Balancing Segment, if applicable) cannot be changed through this process
