Tabs Closing Automatically after set amount of Time

Tabs Closing Automatically after set amount of Time

Description of Issue

When idling in any module for a certain amount of time, the tab automatically closes itself and returns user to the Munis Hub.

Context
  • EERP

  • Roles

Cause

Roles assigned to the user have the Timeout programs after an idle time of option set to a value other than Disabled.

Resolution

Update the Role to have the Timeout programs after an idle time of set to Disabled.

  1. Navigate to Roles (System Administration > Security > Roles)

  2. Search for the Role(s) assigned to the affected user.

  3. Click the Munis System folder.

  4. Select Update.

  5. Change the Timeout programs after an idle time of set to Disabled field to Disabled.

  6. Select Save.

As long as one of the Roles assigned to the user has this option disabled, the tabs will not automatically close.  The user may have to sign out then sign back in for changes to take effect.
