No Void option in Earnings and Deductions

User trying to process a void and the system would not allow, there is no void option showing in Earnings and Deductions.

There is no V-Void set up in Payroll Control settings. Voids can only be processed with a Void Run Type. 

1. Access Payroll Run Control Payroll > Payroll Setup > Payroll Control Settings.

2. Click Accept.

3. Click Run Control in the tool bar.

4. Click Add, click the yellow folder next to Payroll Run Control code.

5. Enter V in the Code field.

6. Enter the short and long description for the void run type.

7. Click Accept.

8. Click Back.

9. Select the Void payroll run control code from the drop-down.

10. Enter default cash account, select default Check Format, Check/Advice Sort Seq.

11. Under Required Steps, select Earnings and Deductions Proof, Employee Update and GL Distribution Journal.

    1. All other choices are optional and can be enabled if needed, otherwise uncheck all other check boxes. 

12. Click Accept.
