How many years can be open at one time?

Cause




Resolution

MUNIS allows 3 years to be open at one time. However, this functionality does have some stipulations. 

  1. Prior year - only period 13 is open for auditing entries while any Budget adjustments would be posted to Prior year Periods 1-12.

  2. Current year - normal processing

  3. Next year - normal processing



Additional Information

The sites current year can be reviewed and verified in MUNIS > General Ledger Menu > Set up chart of accounts > General Ledger Settings
