Creating non TylerForms printer definitions in the datacenter

How do I create a non TylerForms printer definition in Munis within the datacenter?

Cause

Printing within the Munis application requires a Munis printer definition to be set up so that the application and printer can communicate with each other.



Resolution
  1. Log into Munis with an account that has system administration permissions

  2. Navigate to System Administration > Printer/Device Administration > Printer Definitions

  3. Click Add

  4. Enter unique identifier for the Printer ID field

  5. Enter an identifying name in the Printer Name field

  6. Select Command/Script for the Printer Type

  7. Enter the Print/forms command in the following format e:\cmd\pdefs\p.cmd 01 XXXXn000x ls.ntp (please note that the 01 in the path signifies the last 2 digits of the print server the printer is on, ls.ntp is for landscape and pm.ntp is for portrait )
