How to post a new CIP asset once it's been created

2018.3 and below:

1. Open the New Assets program
2. Click Search on the toolbar to find the asset(s) you are looking to activate
3. Click Accept
4. Click Post CIP
5. Click Update
6.  Click Accept
7.  Select the asset to activate and update the effective date if necessary
8.  Click Accept
9.  If there is workflow in place click Release to enter the transaction into workflow
10.  If workflow does not exist click Output/Post.

2019.1 and above:

• In New Assets, pull up the asset, click Transactions, and select Activate CIP Assets.
