Description of Issue

  • No Transfer button available on Category 02 receipt.

  • Miscellaneous cash receipt does not have Transfer button on the Toolbar.

Cause

Transfers are not supported for Category 02 (Miscellaneous Cash) receipts by design. 

Resolution

No action required. 

Additional Information

The Transfer of Payments and Transfer of Overpayments programs allow users to transfer payments/overpayments made against bills to other outstanding bills. 

Miscellaneous cash receipts exist as standalone payments with no true bill record in the system. Transfers were never intended to work with Category 02 payments, as they create Transfer From and Transfer To Bill records, and there is no actual bill record to transfer from or to when Misc. Cash payments are involved.Â
