Getting error while deleting old pay codes in Pay Master

Error executing prpaytypio_delete. ID: [Delete 1804] Record: [0:1] Status: -6372 [ISAM -50000]

• Payroll Setup

• Pay Master

• You cannot delete the Pay records that are used in History as they are attached to History records in Employee Job/Salary (Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Job/Salary)

• Pay codes will be part of detail check history or Employee accumulators, so it doesn't allow you to delete those records.

The end date can be defined on those pay codes in Pay Master or the Description can be updated. 

1. Go to Pay Master (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Pay Master)

2. Search for the pay code. Click Accept. 

3. Click Update. Define applicable End Date and/or update the Description field to Do Not Use. Click Accept.
