Pay Frequency Field Grayed out in Position Control

We are trying to add a pay frequency in the Pay Freq dropdown field of Position Control under the Salary Data Tab, but it is grayed out. 

• Position Control

• Salary Tables

• Employee Job/Salary

Salary Table dropdown was set to Yes. 

If the Position is set to use Salary Tables, then Employee Job/Salary will look to the salary table for a Pay Frequency before looking to the position. 

If the position should not be using a salary table, and a pay frequency should be listed:

1. Go to Position Control(Human Capital Management>Human Resources>Position Control and Budgeting>Position Control).

2. Search for the position in question.

3. Click Update. 

4. In the Salary Data Tab, change the Salary Table selection in the dropdown to No. 

5. TAB down to the Pay Freq dropdown.

6. Select appropriate pay frequency. 

7. Click Accept.
