Description of Issue
Need to add a new class code for a tax property or tax assessment.

Follow the steps below to add a new Tax Class Code.
- Navigate to Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > Region > State > Setup > Class Codes.
- Click Add.
- Enter in your 1-4 character Code.
- Select your AR Category.
- Select your Property Type
- General used as a broad classification for the tax property.
- Building, Land and Personal are used as specific classifications for assessment values.
- Enter in the Description for the new Class Code.
- Enter in a Short description.
- Enter in an Abbreviation.
- Select Applies to primary residence if properties in this class code can be owner-occupied and qualify for primary residence exemptions.
- This option is only available for AR Category 20 - Real Estate.
- Select Reset valuation if you would like Enterprise ERP to automatically reset the assessment values to zero at the start of a new bill run.
- This option is not available for class codes with the property type Personal.
- Select the appropriate Personal property type.
- If the value is not Manufacturing or Intangible, use Tangible as a default.
- This option is only available for class codes with property type Personal.
- Enter in or use the field help to select a Default Item Code.
- This field is used to calculate automatic depreciation in Enterprise ERP. If you do not depreciate this class of property, leave blank.
- This option is only available for class codes with property type Personal.
- Enter in or use the field help to select a Default Trending Schedule.
- This field is used to calculate automatic depreciation in Enterprise ERP. If you do not depreciate this class of property, leave blank.
- This option is only available for class codes with property type Personal.
- Enter a fixed percentage depreciation in the Percentage to Depreciate to field.
- If you wish to use a fixed percentage depreciation, leave the item code and trending schedule fields blank. Then enter in the desired percentage amount.
- If you are using an item code and trending schedule, enter a percentage amount of 100%.
- This option is only available for class codes with property type Personal.
- Click Accept.
