How to find purchase order associated with inventory quantity on order

Inventory Management

The Inventory Outstanding Receipts program can be used to find the purchase order tied to the amount populated in the item's quantity on order field

Inventory quantity on order is automatically increased when a purchase order to replenish inventory is created, and decreased when:

• the items are received through Purchase Order Receiving, or
• the PO is liquidated/closed if the receiving was done manually
