When should I enter the Min Rate and Max Rate on the Salary Data tab on the Job Class Master screen?

Cause

Resolution

The Min Rate and Max Rate should be defined on the Job Class Master in the following situations:

  1. Not using Salary Tables or Position Control for the employees in this Job Class

  2. Not using Salary Tables, but using Position Control for the employees in the Job Class, but not defining the Min Rate and Max Rate in Position Control
