Description of Issue

Looking to generate a report on all existing GL Chart of Account Segments including their Codes and Descriptions

Context

  • Chart of Account Segments

  • Chart Manager

Cause


Resolution

There is currently no comprehensive report that will pull in all the existing Account Segments in the system. Use the Chart Manager or Chart of Account Segments programs and generate individual reports for each segment. These reports will include all of the information related to the account segments including code and description.


To generate a report for Segments in Chart of Account Segments: 

Enterprise ERP > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up/Chart of Accounts > Chart of Account Segments

  1. Select GL Segment

  2. Click Accept

  3. Click PDF on top ribbon

  4. Click Change Segment

  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for all other segments


To generate a report for Segments in Chart Manager:

Enterprise ERP > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up/Chart of Accounts > Chart Manager

  1. Select GL Segment

  2. Click Excel Export on top ribbon

  3. Click Export Segment(s)

  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for all segments
