How to issue inventory to an employee

Resolution

Inventory can be issued to employees using Issued Property or using functionality that exists within Enterprise ERP Capital Assets or Enterprise ERP Inventory

From Issued Property:

  1. Go to Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Issued Property

  2. Click Add 

  3. Select an employee from the Employee field help

  4. Select a Type of item 

    1. This list indicates whether the type of item is a capital asset or inventory item

  5. In the Identification field select the item that is being issued 

    1. If you selected Inventory, the values listed in Help pull from the Inventory Item Maintenance program; if you selected Capital Asset, the values listed in Help pull from the Capital Asset Inquiry program.

  6. Choose a Location from the field help and enter in the remaining fields if necessary

  7. Click Accept
