Overtime Tables-error when deleting

Description of Issue

User received error when deleting an Overtime Table:

Error executing dowhere_delete. ID: [Delete 956] Record: [N/A] Status: -6372 [ISAM -50000]

Context
  • Enterprise ERP Payroll

  • Overtime Tables

  • Job Class Master

  • Position Control

  • Employee Job/Salary

Cause

Overtime Table is attached to Job Class Master, Position Control and/or Employee Job/Salary records. 

Resolution

Overtime Table will need to be removed from all records before it can be deleted. 

In Job Class Master: 

  1. Navigate to Payroll>Payroll Setup>Job Class Master.

  2. Click Search.

  3. Select OT Table from dropdown.

  4. Click Accept. 

  5. Use arrows at bottom of screen to navigate to each record.

  6. Click Update.

  7. Use dropdown to clear Overtime Table.

  8. Click Accept.

In Position Control:

  1. Navigate to Human Resources>Position Control and Budgeting>Position Control.

  2. Click Search.

  3. Select All Search Period radio button.

  4. Click Salary Data Tab.

  5. Select OT Table from dropdown.

  6. Click Accept. 

  7. Use arrows at bottom of screen to navigate to each record.

  8. Click Update.

  9. Click Salary Data Tab.

  10. Use dropdown to clear Overtime Table.

  11. Click Accept.

In Employee Job/Salary:

  1. Navigate to Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Job/Salary.

  2. Click Search.

  3. Select All Search Period radio button.

  4. Click Cycles/Other Tab.

  5. Select OT Table from dropdown.

  6. Click Accept. 

  7. Use arrows at bottom of screen to navigate to each record.

  8. Click Update.

  9. Click Cycles/Other Tab.

  10. Use dropdown to clear OT Table.

  11. Click Accept. 

Additional Information

If there are a large number of records to update, can also use Import in Job Class Master, Position Control or Employee Job/Salary (Employee Import).
