Access to Account X-Reference program

What is needed to give access to Account X-Reference (Cross Reference) program?

• Account Cross Reference
• Menu Security
• Module Security 

Access to program needed for user(s)

There are 3 layers of access needed to use and manage the Account X-Reference Program (menu, GL module, GL role permissions)

• Menu Access:
  1. Browse to System Administration > Security > User Attributes
  2. Search for the User Id
  3. Select a role that grants Menu Access
  4. Edit Role
  5. Menu Security tab
  6. Financials
  7. Forward
  8. General Ledger Menu
  9. Forward
  10. Miscellaneous Setup
  11. Forward
  12. Edit
  13. Check the box for Account X-Reference
      • This will grant access to the full path back to the root menu directory (Financials > General Ledger Menu > Miscellaneous Setup > Account X-Reference)
  14. Accept
  15. Back
  16. Select Reset Files in User Attributes
  17. OK
  18. OK
  19. Now have user refresh Tyler Menu from the Hub Page card or 3 bar box Tyler menu option.
• User must have at least one role assigned with module access to General Ledger
  1. Update Existing Assigned User Role
• User must have at least one role assigned with GL role permission "Maintain cross reference accounts" or their access will be view only.
  1. Browse to System Administration > Security > User Attributes
  2. Search for the User Id
  3. Select a role that grants Menu Access
  4. Edit Role
  5. Select General Ledger module
  6. Update
  7. Check the box for Maintain cross reference accounts
  8. Accept
  9. Back
  10. Select Reset Files in User Attributes
  11. OK
  12. OK

Updating a role will impact all users assigned to that role.
