Update Existing Assigned User Role

Description of Issue

Need to modify, update or change user role permission(s)

Context
  • Roles & Permissions
  • Modify & Update
  • General User Administration
Cause

User has incorrect level of permission and site wants to correct using existing assigned roles.

Resolution
  1. Browse Munis > System Administration > Security > User Attributes
  2. Search
  3. Enter User ID
  4. Accept
  5. Select needed Role
  6. Edit Role
  7. Module tab
  8. Choose needed Module folder
  9. Update
  10. Select needed permission Checkbox
  11. Accept
  12. Return
  13. Return
  14. Reset Files in User Attributes
  15. Have user test permissions

If user is still getting an error after the above steps have them Reset their menu and retry.
