Earnings out of balance you cannot continue

Deduction refund checkbox is selected for an employee, even though no deduction refund code is defined in the withholding tab.

1. Navigate to Payroll Earnings and Deductions (Payroll>Payroll Processing>Payroll Start and Status> Payroll Earnings and Deductions). 

2. Search for the employee with the "Deduction Refund" checkbox selected on Summary tab.

3. Check the Withholding tab to verify if there is no deduction refund code defined among the withholdings.

4. If you find a record where the "Deduction Refund" checkbox is selected but no deduction refund code is defined in the withholding:

   1. Delete the employee from the system.

   2. Re-add the employee.

5. Run the Detail Proof to confirm that the error is resolved before proceeding with the Final Proof.

Deduction Refund should be processed on separate check.
