Accrual SOY is later than accrual update effective date

User getting error while processing Accrual Update: 

Accrual SOY is later than accrual update effective date

• Enterprise ERP

• Accrual Update

• Employee Accruals

• End of Year Accrual Processing

Wrong Effective date is defined in Accrual Update.

1. Go to Employee Accruals (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Accruals).

2. Click History from tool bar.

3. Note down the most recent SOY record date.

   1. Use arrows to scroll or search for Reason Code 8-SOY Adjustment.

4. Go to Accrual Update (Human Capital Management>Human Resources>Leave/Absence management>Accrual Update or Payroll>Accrual Processing>Accrual Update).

5. Click Define.

6. Enter the Effective date  which is prior date to the Accrual SOY date under employee Accrual.

7. Define the remaining fields.

8. Click Accept.

9. Click PDF.

   1. Review proof to confirm error is not populating.

10. Click Output-Post.

11. Click Yes to continue posting.

The system will not be able to insert the record prior to the most recent SOY record. Effective date on Accrual Update must be on or after the date of the most recent SOY balance record.
