Description of Issue

Field value defaults in on user defined on journal, need to remove that default value

Resolution

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Miscellaneous Set Up > User Defined Fields

  1. Search for the UDF that you need to update

  2. Click Default in the ribbon (green button)

  3. Click Update and modify/clear the default value field

  4. Save changes
