Cause
Munis stores unused journal numbers and proof reports (if saved)
Resolution
Information about journal(s) deleted from proof can be found if:
- The proof report was saved to the spool directory
- The journal or proof report exists in a non-Live environment
- The proof report was saved locally or elsewhere
Unused journal numbers can be found here:
Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up/Chart Of Accounts > Miscellaneous Setup > Journal Number Control
- Click Search
- Enter [Year] in Fiscal year field
- Accept
- Unused Journals
Additional Information
To check if proof report was saved to the spool directory:
Departmental Functions > Saved Reports
- Search
- Enter [Date] in Date field
- Accept
