Description of Issue

When trying to log in the user is getting an OKTA 400 Bad Request error. Your request resulted in an error. The following required property is missing: 'email'.

Cause

The windows account for the user does not have the correct email address. OKTA uses the email address field for authentication, so if it is blank or incorrect, it will not be able to read the account. Also, the windows account must have the first and last name fields populated as well. 



Resolution

Confirm the Windows AD account for the user in question has the correct email address and the first and last name fields are populated.
