System Administration>Security>User Attributes
- Click Search
- Enter User ID
- Click Accept
- Highlight the Role to grant permission to
- Click Edit Role
- Click General Ledger folder
- Click Update
- Select Override Accounting Period
- Set Allow transactions beyond the default to desired number of periods
- Click Accept
