How to retrieve Service Logs from Tyler Cashiering

Description of Issue

Need to know how to obtain Service Logs from Tyler Cashiering for help troubleshooting an integration issue. 

Context

Cause

The service log is needed to help troubleshoot an issue. 

Resolution
  1. Open Tyler Cashiering. 

  2. Click the Administration icon. 

  3. Click Logs.

  4. Select External System from the Source filter dropdown. 

  5. Select the user who completed the process in Tyler Cashiering from the Cashiers filter dropdown. 

    1. Note: If Logs are not accessed via Administration, the Cashiers filter is not available. 

  6. Make sure the Start Range-End Range and Start Time-End Time encapsulate the date and time the process was attempted. 

  7. Click Search. 

  8. Find the appropriate service method, for Enterprise ERP this is typically arwscshg_apply_payment. 

  9. Click read more. 

  10. Use CTRL + C and CTRL + V to copy and paste the XML of the request.
