executime Munis Web Service user Authorization Denied

Description of Issue
  • Tyler web service connectivity fails with error 401 Unauthorized: {"Message":"Authorization has been denied for this request."}
  • When trying to run the Full Integrations in Time and Attendance in a non-production environment we are seeing errors on each job with the red circle with the X:


    • Error Occurred: 

      org.springframework.web.client.res...a server side error has occurred on the payroll system. status code: gateway_timeout 504. The response from the payroll system was...

      When testing the Tyler Connectivity tab I see:

      Connectivity Test Results

      • Web Service connectivity has failed with this reported error:

      504 Gateway Time-out 

      • Genero web service connectivity has failed with this reported error:

      A fault was returned from the SOAP response (504) Gateway Time-out.

Cause

EXECUTIME Munis user password in Time and Attendance connectivity page is incorrect

Resolution
  1. Go to ExecuTime URL for your target environment and log in as admin.
  2. Navigate to System Configuration → Tyler Connectivity
  3. Reenter password for EXECUTIME user populated in devolutions for client and press Save and Test Connectivity in Time and Attendance
  4. If above error still occurs, follow the steps in How to reset EXECUTIME password in Munis
  5. Look under Tyler Web Service Connectivity Settings and update the Web Service Password field to the password just created and click the Save and Test Connectivity button

  6. Confirm that web service connectivity now passes successfully

The web user (XXXXweb) usually works as a temporary fix while the EXECUTIME account is being reviewed
