Description of Issue
  • When we print the 1095-C forms from Munis, we are noticing the "Employee’s Age on January 1" is blank, how do we populate this field?
Context
  • Munis
  • Affordable Care Act (ACA) Reporting
  • 1095-B/C Form
Cause
  • The field entitled "Employee’s Age on January 1" is only populated if using an Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA) to reduce the cost
  • In Munis, this field will active if you use any of the following codes in the Line 14 - Employee Offer of Coverage,
    • 1L
    • 1M
    • 1N
    • 1O
    • 1P
    • 1Q
    • 1R
    • 1S
  • Any other codes will not trigger the Employee Age on January 1 field to be populated
Resolution
  • If you do not make use of an HRA then you do not need to account for this field on the 1095 form
