How do I clear the cache in Firefox?
Context
- Firefox
Cause
Cached website items may interfere with various processes.
Resolution
Windows
- Firefox should be the active window.
- Press ALT on the keyboard activate the window menu in Firefox.
- Click History in the menu bar > click Clear Recently History... from dropdown list.
- In the Clear Recent History popup you will be able to define the time range wanted for cache deletion.
- Last Hour, Last Two Hours, Last Four Hours, Today, or Everything.
- To delete all cached data, select Everything from the drop-down menu.
- Click the checkbox next to Cache to delete only the cache data.
- Ensure to uncheck any boxes for items not wanting to be purged (this cannot be undone).
- Click OK.
- Reload the website.
macOS
