Resolution

Longevity pay types pull rates from the Longevity Table defined on the Pay Master.

  2. Search for the pay type code
    1. Note the longevity table number defined in the Longevity field
  3. Click Longevity in the toolbar
  4. Search for the Longevity table
Cause

Effective Date (in version 11.3) on the Employee Job/Salary record, does not align with appropriate Service Level on Longevity Table based on Service Date in Employee Master.

Additional Information
  • In Munis v11.3, service time for longevity is calculated based on the number of months between the Service Date in Employee Master and the Effective Date in Employee Job/Salary.
    • Then adding any amounts entered in Other Service field on the Payroll tab of Employee Master.
  • In Munis v2018.1 and higher, service time for longevity is calculated based on the number of months between the Service Date in Employee Master and the Longevity date in Employee Job/Salary.
