When trying to release entry where one fund has Secondary balancing getting an error that an invalid error  Invalid number of DTDF records exist for fund XXXX segment XXXX object:

• If the duplicate account does not have transaction posted to it can be deleted to stop generating the error. 
• The correction, if the account can not be deleted, would be to change one of the account segments or merge the two accounts

• .  For example, you could either change the duplicated Balancing Segment or change the Object code.
