If header amount matches detail there is no issue. Amounts should sum the supporting journal line detail.
- If the sum of detail is a credit balance it would be correct to display negative.
If header and detail amounts do not match run project balance check utility for that project year, if it has errors include excel output and submit case to support.

Project years do not always align with General Ledger Fiscal Year. Journal amounts will display were effective date lands in the project's year.
Life to Date (LTD) projects have project year Encumbrance and SOY Encumbrance which is the sum of all historic encumbrances.
