There may be a non-system mapping that duplicate to an existing system mapping, or is incorrectly built in that program, ultimately causing a disconnect when Munis reaches out to invalidating and declining retrieve attachments from TCM upon the initial search.

Find and delete or fix custom mappings:
A site administrator or any user with the permissions to Maintain Mappings can review the mappings provided from that program screen to determine if a custom mapping was created and misconfigured:.

  1. Click the downward arrow next to the paperclip icon to open the Document Mappings screenClick the
  2. Review the mappings in the Attached Documents
  3. If duplicate is Attached Documents, select the 2nd mapping in the list with the same Attachment and Document Type, then click the Maintain button at the bottom left of that section
  4. Verify that System Type is not checked, indicating the mapping is Custom, and click Delete from the command ribbon
  5. Confirm Delete by clicking Yes, then click the Back arrow to return to the program screen
  6. Repeat step 1 and review the Associated Documents section, scrolling through each to identify duplicates
  7. If duplicate is Associated Documents Click the Maintain button at the bottom of the Associated Mappings screen
  8. Click Browse in the command ribbon to load the list of mappings
    Mappings with a Check in the System column are provided by Munis Development
    Mappings without a check are custom mappings
  9. Select any mappings that do not have a check in the System column, click Accept
    1. If you see a custom mapping that is not currently being utilized, it can be deleted by clicking the Delete button in the ribbon, or otherwise clicking Update and unchecking the Include in Launch and Active boxes
    2. If the custom mapping is being utilized and needs to be corrected, please follow the remaining steps
  10. Click Update 
  11. To auto-populate the data into the TCM metadata field, click the ellipses button on each field with data available from the program screen 
    If fields are mapped skip to step 10
  12. Expand the Source folders and select the source for each field
  13. Click Accept
  14. Repeat steps 6-8 for all data fields available to store to TCM
  15. Check the Include in Search box for at least 1 data field
    Note – too few and many data fields may result in unexpected results
  16. Click Accept
  17. Test mapping by opening TCM and verifying the data fields populate as expected
  18. Once mapping has been configured correctly, click the paperclip from the affected Munis program to test/relaunch TCM.
  19. If TCM still displays Parsing Query message contact support.

As a temporary work-around, please click the downward arrow next to the paperclip > Document Mappings > select the mapping you wish to view documents from and click View Documents or double-click to open TCM. This should display the images in the TCM Viewer as normal.
