The Current Payroll Fiscal Year controls which set of Calendar records are active. Each calendar record is tied to a defined fiscal year. In order for that calendar to be active, that given fiscal year must be defined on this Payroll Control Setting.
Additional Information
A site would update the Current Payroll Fiscal Year setting after finishing the final payroll for the prior fiscal year.
