Description of Issue

Journal didn't trigger GLJ workflow after importing

Journal didn't trigger BGA/BGT workflow after importing 

Context

  • Journal Entry/Proof

  • Budget Transfers and Amendments
Cause

Import as interface was selected during import and no Interface workflow exists

Resolution

To ensure that imported journals trigger workflow, users must uncheck the box next to Import as interface when defining import parameters within Import Journals.

Additional Information

The Import as interface selection prompts Enterprise ERP to follow Interface specific workflow on the journal being imported, this workflow is available on GLJ business rules within the Journal Type dropdown. To remove access to the Import as interface setting,follow the steps below.

Updating a Role impacts all users assigned to the Role

System Administration > Security > Roles 

  1. Search for the role you'd like to adjust
  2. General Ledger
  3. Update
  4. Uncheck Import journals as interface
  5. Accept
