'ERR - MASTER IS COMPLETE: Multiyear budget already established' - MY Accounts

Error on Budget Complete Journal proof report:

ERR - MASTER IS COMPLETE : Multiyear budget already established

Account has a BUC posted in the Current or a prior fiscal year

Budget Completion Journal/Update

• Original Budget for an account has already been posted
• Accounts in Multiyear LTD funds can only have 1 BUC (Budget Completion Journal/Original Budget) posted for the life of the account.

• Original budget can only be posted once for accounts in Multi Year Funds that budget for life. 
• If an account was included in a budget completion journal, it cannot be posted again in a separate projection - even if the amounts in the first projection were 0.00. 
• Accounts with this error can be deleted from the budget projection in Next Year Budget Entry 

Financials > Budget Processing > Next Year Budget Entry

1. Search for the projection
2. Update
3. Highlight and Delete accounts to remove from projection.
4. Retry posting Budget Completion Journal/Update 

• If all accounts in the projection are Multiyear LTD, and a BUC has been posted at any time, a budget amendment will need to be posted to update the Revised Budget for the account

• It is advised that accounts in projections with 0.00 budgeted be removed from the projection prior to posting. If posted, 0.00 will be established as the Original Budget amount and users cannot update Original Budget at a later time.
