How do you update the quantity on an Asset

How do you update the quantity on an Asset? 

Fixed/Capital Asset 

1. Open the Adjustments and Retirements program 
2. On the ribbon, click Search
3. Enter the asset number to be updated and click Accept
4. With the correct asset on the screen, click the Transactions menu option on the ribbon 
5. On the Options pop-up window, select Adjustment
6. On the ribbon, click Update
7. In the Change column for Quantity enter in the amount you would like to increase or decrease the Quantity by 
8. Enter in the Reason and Effective Date
9. Click Accept 
10. Click Output/Post
11. Click Yes to post the transaction
