Asset Custom Fields are stored in the following programs:
- Asset Custom Fields (Asset Maintenance > Setup Center > Asset Custom Fields) has all of the global custom fields that show up on every asset
- Asset Types (Asset Maintenance > Setup Center > Asset Types) has custom fields that only appear on assets of the specified type
- Department Settings (Asset Maintenance > Setup Center > Department Settings) has custom fields that only appear on assets for the specified department
