Description of Issue

I have Incode and need to create an account in Munis for the Incode integration 

Context

Cause

Incode has the ability to integrate with the Munis GL module. Incode needs a web service account specifically created for it's integration

Resolution

Create new user in Munis for Incode integration

  1. Open the Munis environment you need to integrate with Incode
  2. Navigate to System Administration > Security > User Attributes
  3. Add a new user by selecting Add from the ribbon
    1. The desired User ID and password should be provided by Incode support (IncodeUser is a typical ID)
    2. Set the User account status to Enabled and Workflow Delivery to Workflow Assistant
    3. Click Accept
    4. When prompted, enter the desired password for the Incode integration user
  4. Assign the user the wsuser role

Set the password for the Incode integration user

  1. Go to System Administration > Security > Passwords
  2. Search or Browse for the IncodeUser account
  3. Select Update and set Account status to Active
  4. Click Accept

Grant the Incode integration user access to the GL private web service jnlimpc

  1. Go to System Administration > General Administration > Web Services
  2. Click Private Services
  3. Find the Incode integration user
  4. Click on Access to modify their permissions to private web services
  5. Select Service View
  6. Find and click on the gl - jnlimpc web service and click Add  >
  7. Click Done
