Description of Issue

How do I create a Reporting Account for a Munis user?

Cause

Tyler Reporting SQL accounts are required to access the Tyler Reporting Server and Report Builder program. Syncing the password with the Munis account simplifies logins.

Resolution

Tyler Reporting SQL Account Creation and Password Syncing

  1. Administrator will log into Munis Cloud Admin using the Munis username and password
  2. Click on User Account Management  > Manage User Accounts in the menu
  3. You will be prompted for your 2 Factor Authentication. Enter the code from your Google Authenticator app
  4. Search for the user you wish to modify under Find a user…
  5. Click on View Details
  6. Click on Create SQL Reporting Account
  7. Have the user log into Munis Cloud Admin (https://muniscloud.tylertech.com) using the user's current Munis username and password. This syncs the accounts passwords.
